Every website has a home.
This one isn't hosted here.
So we can't tell its energy story.

What does a web hosting CO2 report show?
The web hosting CO2 report makes the calculated CO2 emissions of your entire web hosting account visible. It uses available website, database and email traffic data and evaluates it using our documented calculation methodology.
The report itself does not reduce emissions. It provides the data needed to identify where data transfers, and the emissions associated with them, can be reduced. As the host, we influence the infrastructure; website operators largely determine how much data is transferred. What seems small for a single website adds up to a large total volume across many websites.
We want to help ensure that digital infrastructure worldwide runs on electricity from renewable energy sources.
Calculation basis: Green hosting – 100% electricity from renewable energy sources | SWDM v.4 | traffic data of the web hosting account | electricity mix (world, EU, national / company location)
